CHATHAM COUNTY, GA (Press Release) – The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office is gearing up, but not with their normal gear. This time its candy and goodies for the kids of Chatham County, its all part of the Sheriff’s “Keep Kids Off Drugs” Program. Some of the fun stuff the deputies will be handing out will reflect the Sheriff’s ongoing message. On Thursday, October 31 deputies will be patrolling a dozen Savannah and Chatham County neighborhoods to pass out Halloween bags with safety tips, reflective wrist bands and candy. Some of the neighborhoods deputies will visit are Berwick Lakes, Kayton Homes, Yamacraw Village, Cloverdale and neighborhoods in Garden City. We all want to ensure the kids have a good time, but are safe when doing so.
