FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Fayetteville police arrested two men who were allegedly involved in a home invasion on Oct. 8.

Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a shooting call just before 3 a.m. in the 1100 block of Ayton Place, police said. Officers learned that four unknown suspects forced their way into the residence.

The suspects began to assault 27-year-old Jarvis Baldwin, who was shot during the assault. Jarrett Leach, 24, was also inside the residence at the time of the incident and was shot by one of the suspects, police said.

Police said Thursday officers arrested Demario Teraze Johnson, 21, of 1309 Deep Creek Road and Hakeem Anthony Middleton, 34, of 5002 Fieldcrest Drive.

Johnson and Middleton have both been charged with three counts robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts conspiracy to commit robbery and one count first-degree burglary.

Johnson is being held under a $210,000 secured bond while Middleton received a $240,000 secured bond.
