Cougars prepare for fourth Doughboy Bowl

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Thursday, A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium will be busy as the fourth annual Doughboy Bowl kicks off at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The game pits the Columbus State club football team against the Ft. Benning Doughboys, and is the pinnacle of the season for the Cougars. This year will be the first time CSU has hosted the game, and they see it as the perfect time for their first win in the series.

"We've actually been going at it now, this is our fourth year," said second-year CSU head coach Michael Speight. "It's a very heated game. Right now, we're 0-3 against those guys, so we're really looking forward to getting those guys back this weekend."

Admission to the game Thursday night is free.
