Fayetteville police search for 2 suspects in armed robbery

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Police are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery in front of a Fayetteville convenience store on Oct. 14.

Fayetteville Police say a man armed with a gun and a second man wearing a panda bear hat demanded money from a victim who was standing in front of the Corner Store, located at 2100 Cumberland Road near the Southern Avenue intersection.

The men demanded that he hand over any money that he had in his possession. While attempting to give the armed suspect his money, the victim was struck with the suspect's handgun.

The suspects fled the area on foot with an undetermined amount of money along with a cellphone.

Both suspects were described as black males between 20 and 25 years of age, and standing between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 8 inches in height.

Police have posted the surveillance video of the robbery.
