2 RDU employees robbed at gunpoint

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Two Raleigh-Durham International Airport employees were robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning near the employee parking lot.

RDU says the employees were walking from the employee parking lot to Terminal 2 around 3:45 a.m. when they were approached by two armed men.

The suspects robbed the two employees of a cellphone, wallet and a set of keys. The employees were not injured.

One suspect is described at a dark-skin black male who stands about 5 feet 4 inches. He was wearing dark clothes, black jeans and black athletic shoes.

The second suspect is described as a like-skin black male who stands about 5 feet 5 inches. He was wearing a smoky-gray hooded sweatshirt and black shoes.

The men fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
