FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Cumberland County Sheriff's Detectives have issued arrest warrants for a Fayetteville woman accused of stealing jewelry from her 100-year-old great-grandmother in May.

Christina Marie Johnson, 34, of 2901 Birchcreft Drive, is wanted on charges of felony larceny and possession of stolen goods.

She allegedly stole four pieces of gold and diamond jewelry from her great-grandmother. The jewelry is valued at $7,000.

The incident occurred on May, 2, 2013 when Johnson's great-grandmother was in Fayetteville to celebrate her 100th birthday with family.

The victim says she had gone to her room to retrieve her jewelry and discovered it was missing from the top of a dresser where she had left it.

Johnson's mother later called authorities saying Johnson wanted to turn herself in for stealing the jewelry.

Johnson has yet to surrender to law enforcement officers.

Johnson is a white female who is 5-foot-9 and weighs approximately 175 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes. Johnson has several tattoos, including one on her left upper arm with the name "Christina" printed on it.

Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is urged to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.
