FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said they have two men in custody charged in the murder of a mother and her son in Fayetteville.

The sheriff's office said 32-year-old Leondrea Montrell Robinson of 6925 Johnson Road and 44-year-old Corey Lavone Spell of 5768 Mack Simmons Road, both of Fayetteville, were arrested Thursday.

Both are charged with two counts of first degree murder, conspiracy, and breaking and entering in relation to the deaths of Yolanda George and her son, Jamal Skinner, on Oct. 2.

George, 57, was found dead behind a neighbor's home on Matt Hair Road. Skinner, 35, was found dead inside the home, according to the sheriff's office.

An autopsy performed by the State Medical Examiner determined the cause of death for George and Skinner were from gunshot wounds

Robinson and Spell will make their first court appearances Friday afternoon in the Detention Center courtroom, authorities said.
