Second suspect charged in Scott murder

A second man is under arrest in a fatal shooting last week at 7th Street and Coolidge Avenue in Columbus.

Our media partner, the Ledger Enquirer reports 20-year old Jayln Trevonta Dixon has been charged with murder in the death of 34-year old David Scott. Scott was shot in the head last Thursday.

22-year-old Tyrecquiss Wells as already been charged. Police arrested him after a chase.

Dixon and Wells also are charged in a second shooting that occurred earlier that night on Baltic Court, an incident detectives now are calling not just an aggravated assault but an armed robbery.

Tyrecquiss wells is due in court Friday morning at 9.
