WNCN Blitz visits Garner Magnet High School for pep rally

Posted: Updated:
GARNER, N.C. -

A wet Friday morning couldn't dampen the enthusiasm at Garner High School as the Trojans turned out in force for WNCN Today.

WNCN's Page Crawford was on the scene as the Trojans shared their excitement for their team and school. Garner is always one of the top football programs in the area and takes a 3-1 record into tonight's home game with Enloe.

The popular Garner band gave a rendition of its halftime performance for the early morning audience. And of course, Garner's Blue Crew was there to crank up the excitement for the Trojan teams.

WNCN Today is live in the field on Friday mornings at high schools during the football season. Earlier this season, WNCN appeared at Cardinal Gibbons and Millbrook.

WNCN also covers high school football every Friday night when Todd Gibson hosts Friday Night Blitz at 11:15 p.m.

You can follow the excitement on Twitter every Friday at #WNCNBlitz.
