Northside HS teacher arrested for attempted sexual assault

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Northside High School teacher Tucker Hearn is in the Muscogee County jail charged with criminal attempt sexual assault.

Sgt. Charles Lee confirms that the 37-year-old English teacher is in custody for attempting sexual contact with a 16-year-old female student.

Hearn has been a teacher at Northside High School since 2002.

He will appear in Recorders Court Sept. 20 at 2:00 p.m.
