Six Plead Guilty in Federal Gun, Drugs and Violent Crimes Probe

BRUNSWICK, GA -

       Six people have entered guilty pleas in a series of federal prosecutions focusing on gun and drug crimes in Glynn County.

      Cortez Arbery of Brunswick was the latest to plead guilty in district Court in Brunswick.

      He admitted to being a felon in possession of a firearm earlier this month.

      Five other people previously entered guilty pleas for their roles in weapons and drug offenses.  They are Gromyko Green, John Wesley Boone, Calvin Grovener,  Patrick Tenney and Reginald Beckham.  All of the suspects will be sentenced at a later date.  

      All the cases were investigated by the Glynn/Brunswick Violent Crime Task Force which consists of agents and officers from the ATF, FBI and Glynn  County Sheriff's Office.
