SAVANNAH, GA -

Celebrity Chef Paula Deen's sons, Jamie and Bobby Deen, appeared in the famed Lady and Sons restaurant for a book signing Monday from 2:00 until 4:00pm.

According to WSAV partner The South Magazine, only 350 tickets were provided to the event, and cameras were prohibited.

It was one of the first major scheduled public appearances by the family since controversy over a discrimination lawsuit was brought to light earlier this summer. The lawsuit was dismissed earlier this week by a Federal Court Judge.

Wednesday morning, Deen took to her Twitter and Facebook accounts to encourage fans to come support her children.

It is unclear if Paula was part of the original plan to participate, or if she was on the property with her sons.

Jamie and Bobby Deen were quick to defend their mother on NBC's Today Show as controversy became headlines early this summer (See photo gallery below).
