CHRISTIANSBURG -

We're learning more information about two Friday shootings that police say are linked.

Christiansburg Police say they responded to the intersection of Kays Drive and Majestic Drive where they found Derek Scott Roberson, 36, shot and killed.

The suspect left the scene before police arrived.

At about 7 p.m. the Pulaski Police Department responded to the intersection of North Jefferson Avenue and Northwest Sixth Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two people dead from apparent gunshot wounds. They say one of the deceased was involved in an earlier shooting in the town of Christiansburg.

Pulaski Police say it appears to be a murder/suicide.

Police say the two people found dead were: Clinton Morris, 69, of Christiansburg and Barry Roberson, 45 of Pulaski.

Police say there are no suspects currently being sought in connection with this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
