Authorities investigating crash on Hwy 98 in Durham Co.

Highway Patrol is investigating a Thursday morning crash on Highway 98 that sent several people to the hospital.

The accident happened on HWy 98 near Coley Road. The crash was first reported as a head-on collision, with one of the cars going down an embankment.

Authorities are on the scene to complete their investigation, which could take awhile, however no lanes are currently blocked.

There is no word on specific injuries at this time. This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
