SAVANNAH, GA -

Stormy weather along the coast is synonymous with flooding, and Wednesday afternoon's rainy weather held no exceptions. Standing water could be seen all around Savannah, creating a travel headache for many.

Roadways affected included:

  • General McIntosh Blvd.
  • Skidaway Road between Victory Drive and Pennsylvania
  • Victory Drive was blocked off at Live Oak Street
  • The intersection of Dean Forest Rd. and Ogeechee Rd. was closed

Garden City also experience some flooding. A viewer named Albert Smith captured a large of pool of standing water behind Groves High School.
