BULLOCH COUNTY, GA -

Three Bulloch County men are under arrest and one of them is facing charges related to methamphetamine.

Deputies were called to a home in the Burkhalter Mobile Home Park Thursday on a tip that two men were possibly using methamphetamine.

When they arrived, one man, identified as James Powell, ran to the rear of the home.

He was later found inside and taken into custody based on an existing arrest warrant, BCSO said.

While deputies were inside they also discovered methamphetamine and marijuana.

Jerry Foster Morris Jr., 34, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana.

James Powell, meantime, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Trespass, Simple Assault and Obstruction.

A third man, Michael Eugene Powell, 40, who was also at the home was later arrested on charges related to child support and violation of probation.

All three men were taken to the Bulloch County Jail.
