St. Helena Island, SC -

The second suspect in Friday's armed robbery and shooting at a St. Helena home has been arrested.

Byron Rasheem Moultrie, 22, was taken into custody at a home on Hogarth St. in Beaufort Wednesday, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says.

Investigators say Moultrie and another man, A-Tray Holmes, 18, tried to rob a man at a home on Reunion Road.

The alleged victim, Brian Bryan, returned fire after BCSO says Moultrie pulled out a gun and started shooting at him.

Bryan chased the two suspects from the home.

Holmes was arrested shortly after being treated for a gunshot wound, authorities said.

Moultrie is charged with Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, Discharging a Firearm in a Dwelling and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
