Many people are waking up to news the news they've been waiting for this morning, the royal baby is on the way! Officials from Buckingham Palace say Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been admitted to St. Mary's hospital in the early stages of labor. She is expected to give birth in a private wing of the London hospital. It's where husband William, Duke of Cambridge, was born, as was his brother Harry.

Here at home, a public meeting is set for today, concerning the possibility of a cell tower coming to a Savannah neighborhood. A group of concerned people from the Edgemere-Sackville neighborhood initially contacted News 3 about the potential cell tower. Since then the city has performed a series of rigorous tests in the area to determine things like how the height of the proposed tower will affect the area's skyline view. Now the next step is a neighborhood meeting, which will be tonight at 6 at Calvary Baptist. Representatives will be there to show what they hope to build and answer any questions. The Metropolitan Planning Commission will also welcome public comment before they vote.

Also, officials have been monitoring the Savannah River closely all weekend in anticipation of it breaching the banks and spilling onto the street. They say high tides, heavy rains, and a dam release could contribute to a flood. But so far, the water has not spilled over onto the street.
