UPDATE: Body found, believed to be missing Brunswick woman

UPDATE:

The body of a missing Brunswick woman has been found in a wooded area off of Highway 99.

Gylnn County Investigators located the body of 22-year old Amber Whited on Sunday.

Whited was last seen on Tuesday leaving her job at Golden Isles Harley Davidson. Her car was recovered Wednesday on the side of road several miles from her job.

20-year-old Raymond Michael Braisel, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the case.

 

ORIGINAL STORY:

Police say a Brunswick woman left her job Tuesday on a lunch break and has not been seen since.

Detectives say 22 year old Amber Whited works at Golden Isles Harley-Davidson located at 153 Venture Drive in Brunswick. Co-workers tell police Whited left the building at 11 a.m. for lunch, but never returned.

At the time she was driving a 1992 white Honda Accord. The vehicle was located with a flat tire around 3:30p.m. Wednesday afternoon in the 3100 block of M.L.K. Boulevard.

Detectives say a white male, approximately 5 ft 6 inches in height with dark colored hair wearing a white T-shirt was seen leaving the vehicle around 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
