Here's a quick look at your Top 3 on 3 stories you'll need to know before heading out this morning.

A family vacation ends in tragedy on Hunting Island in Beaufort County on Sunday. A South Carolina father from Spartanburg County and his teen son are dead. A third relative is still missing. Search crews found 16-year old Nathan Mok's body just after 6 Sunday night near the shore. They found his 38-year old father, Tiem, on Monday morning nearly three miles away from where the trio was last seen. The third family member, a 17-year old nephew visiting from Philadelphia, remains missing. Autopsies results on the father and son are pending.

Also, the man accused of trying to extort money from celebrity chef Paula Deen will appear before a Chatham County judge this morning. 62-year-old Thomas Paculis was taken into custody in Newfield, New York almost two weeks ago. Paculis is charged with extortion for allegedly trying to get $250,000 in exchange for not disclosing, "true and damning" statements to the media.

Plus, people across the country are continuing to protest the acquittal of George Zimmerman. In Los Angeles Monday, protesters stopped traffic, broke windows and even raided a Wal-Mart store at one point. Officials say a smaller group, which splintered off from a larger and mostly peaceful group of protesters, broke windows and jumped on cars. Officials say 13 people have been arrested.
