FLASH FLOOD WATCH UNTIL 2PM SUNDAY - Local news, weather, sports Savannah | WSAV On Your Side

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH  is in effect until 2pm Sunday

Scattered to numerous showers and a few thunderstorms will hit our area again today.  Additional rainfall amounts of 1 inch will be common, but some areas could pick up more.

Showers are now moving inland, moving southeast to northwest.

Flooding is definitely another concern today.

Coastal areas will especially be prone to flooding around the time of high tide, which is 1:02p.m.

Flooding could happen quickly, especially in low-lying areas and poor drainage areas.  Driving could become dangerous as some roadways could become impassable due to high water.

Stay tuned to the STORM TEAM 3 WEATHER NETWORK for the very latest updates.
