Here's a quick look at your Top 3 on 3 stories you'll need to know before heading out this morning.

Closing arguments are set to begin in the George Zimmerman trial in the day ahead. The defense wrapped up its case Wednesday. Zimmerman opted not to testify. He's pleaded not guilty and told police he shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in self defense. After some legal housekeeping this morning, the jury will return for the start of final arguments this afternoon.

Plus, this morning at the White House, President Obama and Vice President Biden will meet with top senators from both sides of the aisle to discuss immigration reform. Meanwhile there is still no specifics or a timetable from House Republicans on how they'll move forward on the legislation. In a closed-door meeting Wednesday, members failed to reach consensus on a possible path for citizenship for the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in this country.

Also, country music fans are waiting with baited breath this morning; hoping for good news on the condition of singer Randy Travis. According to the singer's publicist, the 54-year-old suffered a stroke during surgery in a Texas hospital on Wednesday. He has since had a second surgery to relieve brain pressure following the stroke. He was being treated for congestive heart failure because of a viral illness. The illness has led to a weakened heart muscle that eventually worsened into heart failure.
