RALEIGH, N.C. -

A teenager was arrested after police said he launched bottle rockets in downtown Raleigh Thursday night.

Around 10 p.m., Raleigh police said officers were working to disperse a crowd near the 300 block of Fayetteville Street when they saw someone lighting bottle rockets.

Nyheim Arthur Miller-Hines, 16, was arrested and charged with causing a public disturbance.

Police said the bottle rockets may have led to the reports of people hearing a shooting. Raleigh police said officers found no evidence of a shooting.

No injuries were reported.
