Clayton man faces multiple cocaine charges

CLAYTON, N.C. -

A Clayton man faces drug charges after Clayton and Raleigh police say they found him  with roughly $5,000 worth of cocaine.

Mario Enrique Rivera-Padilla, 34, of Cardinal Drive in Clayton was arrested June. Police say they seized 112 grams of powder cocaine, a firearm, and drug paraphernalia from the suspect and his home.

Rivera-Padilla faces two counts of Trafficking Cocaine by Possession, and one each of Trafficking Cocaine by Selling, Delivering, and Transporting.  He was also charged with two counts of Maintaining a Vehicle and Dwelling, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

He is being held in the Wake County Jail under an $850,000 bond and is currently under an immigration hold.

No additional charges are expected in this case.
