Kinston's Reggie Bullock drafted by the LA Clippers

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. -

It's been quite the ride for Reggie Bullock but finally the Kinston standout is exactly where he wants to be....in the NBA. He waited a little bit longer than he might have hoped but his landing spot is about as good as it gets. Bullock was drafted with the 25th overall pick by the LA Clippers.

Bullock was in Kinston for the announcement. His family, friends and coaches were all around him for perhaps best moment of his basketball career and maybe the biggest moment of his life. Earlier in the day the Viking turned Tar Heel said he didn't care where he ended up and that he was just happy to have this opportunity.

Bullock will play along side North Carolina native Chris Paul as the Clippers are considered serious contenders in the 2013-14 NBA season.
