One Suspect Arrested, 2nd Sought In Robbery

BRUNSWICK, GA -

An armed robbery suspect is in custody as Glynn County Investigators attempt to track down his accomplice.

Deputies arrested 26-year-old Thomas Lavone Robinson Wednesday afternoon in the midst of  an ongoing investigation for the May 27th robbery at the Friendly Express convenience store located at 3245 Cypress Mill Road in Brunswick.

The 34-year-old male clerk reported he was robbed by two black males wearing bandanas over their faces. He told investigators that one of the males was armed with a handgun and threatened to shoot him before the pair ran out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
