29 arrested in drug round up in Harlan County

HARLAN, KY – On June 17, 2013 Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan and KSP Desi East conducted a drug roundup in Harlan County. This stems from a year-long investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics in the Harlan County area. A total of 29 people were arrested, and more arrests are pending. The investigation continues by Det. Keith Saylor and Det. Jim T. Whitaker

The Following were arrested and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center. 

 

  1. Letta Halcomb, 20, from Harlan Ky, charged with- One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Deg 1st offense, one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1000 feet of a school.
  2. Lachricia Ball, 33, from Harlan Ky, charged with – One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg. Two counts of Persistent felony offender, and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a school.
  3. Shane Bowling, 22, from Eastbrook Ky, charged with – three counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg, one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.
  4. Casey Lewis, 22, from Eastbrook Ky, charged with – Two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg.
  5. RC Henry, 39, from Kildav Ky, charged with – One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg. One Count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3nd deg, and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd degree.
  6. Jessie Combs, 23, from Evarts Ky, charged with – One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg, 1 count of Persistent Felony Offender 2nd degree.
  7. Richard Coots, 50, from Harlan Ky, Charged with – one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.
  8. Ryan Harris, 36, from Harlan Ky, charged with – Two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg.
  9. Polly Crider, 39, from Harlan Ky, charged with – One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.
  10. Ray Moses, 33, from Harlan Ky, charged with three counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg, five counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg, three counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, six counts of Persistent Felony Offender.
  11. Cayla Ison, 22, from Harlan Ky, charged with – Four counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg and one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1000 feet of a school.
  12. Brian Harris, 25, from Harlan Ky, charged with – One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.  One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3nd deg. One count of Persistent Felony Offender.
  13. Janice Collins, 19, from Harlan Ky, charged with – Four counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg, and four counts of Trafficking Marijuana less than 8oz 1st Offense.
  14. Sherrod Phillips, 30, from Harlan Ky, charged with – Four counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg, Two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd degree, Three counts of Trafficking Marijuana less than 8 oz and three counts of Persistent Felony Offender
  15. Matt York, 36, from Harlan Ky, charged with – two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg and two counts of Persistent Felony Offender 2nd degree.
  16. Joshua Holden, 31, from Teetersville Ky, charged with- two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree.
  17. Nora Helton, 34, from Baxter Ky, Charged with- One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.  One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg. 

 

  1. Charles Keith, 37, from Totz Ky, Charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg. 

 

  1. Brandon Parker, 31, from Harlan Ky, Charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.

 

  1. Kathy Rice, 28, from Harlan Ky, Charged with- One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg. One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg. 

 

  1. Mike Abner, 50, from Harlan ky, charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.

 

  1. Teresa Abner, 45, from Harlan Ky, Charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.

 

  1. Derrick Cottrell, 30, from Harlan Ky, Charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg and one count of Persistent Felony Offender.

 

  1. Rachel Harris, 26, from Harlan Ky, Charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd deg, one count of Trafficking Controlled Substance 1000 feet of a school.

 

  1. Patrick Myers, 31, from Harlan Ky, charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg.

 

  1. Bobby Muncy, 67, from Clovertown Ky, charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg. Two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg. Two counts of Persistent Felony Offender 2nd degree.

 

  1. Stevie Prather, 51, from Harlan Ky, Charged with - - Two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st deg. One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd deg. Complicity of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree.
  2. Andrea Calahan, 32, from Cumberland Ky, charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg, two counts of Persistent Felony Offender 2nd degree, and one count of Trafficking Controlled Substance 1000 feet of a school.
  3. Nancy Hammons, 34, from Baxter Ky, Charged with - One count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd deg.
