The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that one out of five people living with HIV/AIDS in the U. S. don't know their status.
In observance of National HIV Testing Day you can take advantage of free testing at
Chatham CARE Center.
Testing will be done without the use of a needle and results will be available in 20 minutes.
As part of a global effort participants can gain knowledge and take control of their lives.
The free HIV testing is Thursday, June 27 at Wells Park on 38th Street between MLK, Jr. Blvd and Montgomery Street in Savannah.
The hours are 10 a.m-4 p.m.
