Effingham Authorities Locate Missing Teen

EFFINGHAM COUNTY, GA -

UPDATE: The missing child, John Gonsalves, was located by Rincon Police at a residence on Talmage Drive and is safe, authorities tell WSAV.com.

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office and Springfield Police Department is asking the public's assistance in locating a missing juvenile. "According to Springfield Police, John Gonsalves, 13, of Springfield, was last seen last night at his residence on North Railroad Avenue," Sheriff's spokesman David Ehsanipoor said.

Gonsalves is 5,4 175 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Springfield Police Department of the Effingham County Sheriff's Office at 912-754-3449.
