Police search for 2 suspects near Raleigh Wal-Mart

The sheriff's office said four suspects jumped out of the vehicle before it crashed into another car on New Bern Avenue. The sheriff's office said four suspects jumped out of the vehicle before it crashed into another car on New Bern Avenue.

Raleigh police and members of the State Highway Patrol are still searching for two suspects after they and two others ran from a vehicle following a police chase Tuesday on New Bern Avenue.

It happened around 6 p.m. in the 4100-block of New Bern near New Hope Road.

The Wake County Sheriff's Office said a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on New Hope Road around 6 p.m.

The sheriff's office said four suspects jumped out of the vehicle before it crashed into another car on New Bern Avenue.

Deputies said two of the four suspects were caught quickly but the two other suspects are on the run.

The Wal-Mart located on New Bern Avenue was put on lockdown while authorities searched for the suspects.

Law enforcement is still on the scene.
