Suspect Arrested In Bulloch County Stabbing Death

STATESBORO, GA -

One suspect has been arrested and charged in the stabbing death of a Pembroke man. Bulloch County officials released this statement:

"An autopsy conducted today by the GBI's Coastal Regional Crime Lab has ruled the death of the individual from Longwood Drive on Monday a homicide. Eric Brennon Harvey, 27, of Lee Road Pembroke GA, died after being transported to East Georgia Regional Medical Center from the residence in the 300 block of Longwood Drive.

Harvey was determined to have been stabbed. A thorough investigation by investigators of BCSO's criminal investigation division led to the arrest of Harvey's father, James William Harvey, 45, of Longwood Drive Statesboro GA. James Harvey is currently housed at the Bulloch County Jail and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence. He is held without bond pending further judicial action. The murder stemmed from a domestic dispute between Eric and James Harvey.
