Sexual assault reported in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Fayetteville Police are looking for man after a victim described a sexual assault that happened Friday.

The assault happened occurred in the area of Hillsboro Street near W. Rowan Street at approximately 11:30 p.m.

The victim described the assailant as a black man approximately 6 feet tall and between 40 and 45 years old. He was wearing a white T-shirt at the time.

Anyone with information regarding the sexual assault or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact SVU Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
