Cary authorities seeking help in recent vehicle break-ins

CARY, N.C. -

The Town of Cary is asking for the public's help about a recent number of vehicle larcenies near Cary Parkway.

The incidents occurred in residential communities near Cary Parkway at Laura Duncan Road and Gregory Drive near Maynard Road on the night of May 14. Authorities say 15 vehicles were broken into at an apartment complex as well as single-family home neighborhoods.

The suspects took items like cash, iPods, cell phones and GPS devices. All of the vehicles were unlocked at the time.

Anyone with information about Tuesday night's larcenies is asked to call the Town of Cary Police Department at (919) 469-4012 or Cary Crime Stoppers at (919) 226-2746.
