Greenville man plays as contestant on The Price is Right

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. -

A chance to play on The Price is Right would be a dream for a lot of game show fans, but a couple from the east got to live that dream and they didn't walk away empty-handed.

It's a story you'll only see on 9.  Marquis Cox and his fiancé Richaunda Carr are back home in Greenville after vacationing in Los Angeles.  On their trip, the couple decided to drop by the CBS studio where The Price is Right is filmed and be in the audience for a taping.  But Cox got more than he ever expected when his name was called to "come on down."

Cox and Carr are both college students, busy parents of two and they're planning their wedding on top of everything else.  But they say what they walked away with is more of a reward than anything they could have dreamed of.
