Girl Scouts Of Historic Georgia Hold Highest Awards Ceremony

Posted: Updated:
SAVANNAH, GA -

Some Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia are being recognized for their community service projects. During the Highest Awards Ceremony Sunday young women were awarded bronze, silver, and gold for how they helped their neighbors.

10th grader, Elacha Roman, did a project that hit close to home. Roman has family members in the army and wanted to do something special with the Warriors Walk on Fort Stewart.

"I did the photos for the families because a lot of people don't live in Fort Stewart and they won't be able to visit them personally so I put it online so they can see it wherever they are," said Roman.
