Easter Murder Remains Unsolved, Beaufort Co. Investigators Asking For Clues

Posted: Updated:
Burton, SC -

An unsolved murder in Beaufort County-and authorities are asking neighbors to come forward with clues to help solve it.

Forty-year-old Darryl McArthur Greene was shot in broad day light Easter Sunday on Staffwood Road in Burton.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is hitting road blocks in the investigation  and they're reminding neighbors to call them with any details that could help lead to arrests.

“We feel there are people who know what happened, who saw what happened, who may have the piece of information that may be the key to this murder,” Sgt. Robin McIntosh with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said.

A week after the murder authorities did arrest Natalie Garriett on one count of accessory to a felony after the fact.

However, authorities say she has not led them to any answers on who is responsible for the crime.

If you have any information that could lead to an arrest or help with the investigation, call 1-888-CRIME-SC.
