A cold front will approach the area today and move through tonight from the west.

Thunderstorms Are Expected To Develop Ahead Of The Cold Front Late This Afternoon And Continue As The Front Moves Through This Evening.

There Is The Potential For A Few Of These Thunderstorms To Become Severe... Capable Of Producing Damaging Winds... Large Hail And Isolated Tornadoes.

In Addition... Frequent Lightning And Locally Heavy Rainfall Are Also Possible. The Greatest Threat Of Severe Thunderstorms Is Between 4 PM And 10 PM.

The best chance for seeing severe weather will generally be along and north of I-16 in southeast Georgia and all of the Low Country of South Carolina.
