BLOOMINGDALE, Ga. -

A Bloomingdale man is behind bars facing several drug and weapons charges following a six month long investigation conducted by the Effingham County Sheriff's Office Drug Suppression Unit. Early Thursday morning, ECSO executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Pecan Grove Blvd where they located several different kinds of drugs and weapons. Investigators found two methamphetamine labs, prescription pills, ICE, morphine, and 13firearms.

Investigators have charged Larry Lunsford, 42, of Bloomingdale with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, along with several other drug charges.

Sheriff's investigators believe Lunsford has been supplying several types of different drugs to people in both Effingham and Chatham Counties as well in other areas in the region.

Deputies also seized a truck and two four wheelers. Lunsford is being held in the Effingham County Jail and additional arrests are pending.
