Statesboro Job Fair Targets Veterans

STATESBORO, GA -

A "Hiring Our Heroes" job fair planned for next week in Statesboro aims to put our nation's veterans, members of the military and even their spouses back to work.

The job fair, sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is Tuesday, March 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Nesmith-Lane Conference Center on the Georgia Southern University campus.

The address is 847 Plant Dr. in Statesboro.

This hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce, Office of the Mayor, Statesboro GA, the Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Georgia Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), The American Legion, Georgia Workforce Commission, NBC News, and other local partners.

There is no cost for employers or job seekers to attend the fair.
