Cori Rayshan Hines turned himself in to Metro Police detectives Sunday afternoon and is in currently being held in the Chatham County Detention Center.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The search for 27-year old Cori Hines has expanded outside the area of the Effingham Parc Apartments. He is wanted by SCMPD after shooting his ex girlfriend during the overnight hours ", said the Effingham County Sheriff's Office Spokesman.
SCMPD swat was on the scene before 9 a.m. after witnesses placed the suspect there.
Police say the ex-girlfriend does not have life threatening injuries. There is a warrant out for Hines for aggravated assault.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers or Metro Police.
