Students from Wheaton College will spend their Spring Break in Savannah helping others.
Twelve Students will help build affordable housing working with Habitat Savannah. Habitat has hosted groups from the college for the past several years.
For Habitat Savannah, the relationship yields volunteer labor as well as a significant financial boon: in ten years students have donated nearly $5,000 to build homes and improve Savannah. The Collegiate program continues Habitat Savannah's efforts to engage youth between the ages of 18 and 25.
The students will also help clean up various area of the city. The project is slated for March 9th and 10th.
