An update on a story we've been following for more than two years. A murder trial out of Long County. Kenneth Lumpkin has been charged in the death of Lori Arrowood....a military wife who went missing in September 2010. Her body was found a few days later - and Kenneth Lumpkin – a Liberty County corrections officer was arrested. The state is seeking the death penalty in the case - but there has been a slight delay. Counsel for Lumpkin had to be replaced when the original attorney left for another job. The new attorney's today were given 30 days by the judge in the case to get up to speed on it before any proceedings will move forward.

Traffic was halted for at least an hour and a half saturday night as state patrols worked to learn more about an apparently fatal auto accident on 1-95 southbound near Walterboro South Carolina.
Officials say an unidentified female came out of the moving car and was struck and killed by a Freightliner tractor-trailer headed southbound in the next lane.
