SAVANNAH, GA -

Excessive rainfall continues to drench areas of the Coastal Empire and LowCountry. Dangerous conditions prompted a Tornado Warning for Chatham and Jasper Counties at 6:15 Tuesday Morning. The WSAV.com newsroom is constantly monitoring road conditions around the city.

County-By-County Road Conditions:

Road alerts Chatham County:

-A combination of hard rains and high tides have temporarily closed Gen. McIntosh Boulevard linking East President and East Bay streets in front of the Marriott Hotel to traffic.

-Northbound Abercorn, from Brandywine to 63rd: Flooding is causing some road closures, barricades being placed.

-37th and MLK flooding reported.

-Road crews on the scene Victory and Battle.

Tattnall County:

-Dewitt Tatum Rd.

-Jim Rowe Hightower

-Alexander Mill Pond Rd.

-JC Green Rd.

-Gladdis Holland Rd.

-Enoch Bradley Rd.

Jeff Davis County: Nearly 30 roads are closed, Among the largest: 

-Old Douglas Rd.

-Preston Crawford Rd.

-Harrison Rd.

Hope Road at Oleander Circle (both entrances)

Mineral Springs Road (the end near Murphy Road)

Far end of Browntown near Murphy Road

Warner's Landing Rd, past Sandy Loop, is under water
