Monday's Most Wanted: Johnson City robbery and vandalism

JOHNSON CITY, TN -

Johnson City Police hope surveillance video will help them solve a shopping center robbery and vandalism spree.

"Four businesses were broken into at 214 E. Mountcastle on January 28th," said Lt. Steve Sherfey.

"Luckily enough for us, there was a camera in one of these businesses and they got some really good footage," said Sherfey.  "Hopefully someone will recognize this person."

The targets were a restaurant, a financial firm, a florist, and the offices of a Johnson City church.

"They're still actually doing inventory to find out what was taken," Sherfey said.  "But the vandalism to all these spaces was quite substantial."

More surveillance video shows the vandalism as it was happening.   You can see the suspect force his way through a wall connected two of the businesses.

"As good as this picture, we know somebody out there knows him," said Sherfey.  "We're hoping they'll give us a call at the police department and let us know."
