Excessive rainfall and poor driving conditions are forcing the closure of several Georgia school districts, WSAV.com has learned.
Tattnall, Jeff Davis, Brantley, Liberty, Long, Toombs, Bacon, Appling, Wayne, Pinewood Christian Academy and Evans County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 26. 10am start for Savannah Country Day School. Royal Live Oaks Academy Charter School in Hardeeville, SC will have a 10:30 early dismissal today (Tuesday) due to weather.
Some buses may be delayed in Chatham County due to heavy rain.
In Tattnall County, staff will report to the schools by 10:00am.
The Toombs County School System will close schools on February 26 & February 27, 2013 for students and staff. Make-up days for both students and staff will be March 11 and March 12, 2013
