Folks in Sun City got up and got moving at the third annual "Dance For Your Health" event put on by Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
The free event is designed to help folks get an idea of their current health status, as well as get them active. Neighbors were able to talk with officials on-site about their concerns and also get entertained. and that's what officials say makes this such an important event.
"We wanted to find a way to make it fun, bring people out, give them a chance to be entertained, maybe do something fun for their health, and also talk with experts, talk with doctors, nurses, maybe answer their questions, in a setting that's maybe a little less intimidating than a doctors office," said spokesperson, Courtney McDermott.

Dog found with 300 burned into its body
The hunting dog was found near some woods Charleston County last week, the person who found it took the dog to the Emergency Veterinary Hospital in North Charleston. The hound was given fluids and medicine
