Authorities in Colleton County are investigating a deadly shooting that happened at a popular nightclub. Larry Henderson, police say, is suspected of the crime. (Pictured Above)
Friday, officials released this report:
"Last night at approximately 8:38 pm (02-21-2013), the
Colleton County Sheriff's Office 911 Center received a 911 call in reference to
a shooting that occurred inside the Chase Lounge located at 1002 Proctor Street,
near Walterboro, SC. When deputies
arrived they found the victim, Leon Cockrum Jr. (52 yoa) with several gunshot
wounds and was transported immediately to MUSC in Charleston in critical
condition. The victim was pronounced dead
this morning at approximately 3:00 AM.
Investigators with the Sheriff's Office are looking
for the person who they believe committed this homicide and his information is
as follows: Larry Henderson (Pictured Above)"
