Edward Archer turned himself into authorities Thursday night
Edward Archer was wanted on Burglary and Theft by Deception charges
Just hours after being profiled on News 3 Fugitive Files, a burglary and theft suspect turned himself in to police.
Edward Archer was picked up by authorities just after 9pm Thursday night after seeing himself profiled on WSAV.
Archer was wanted for allegedly stealing jewelry from his neighbor after taking advantage of her special needs son.
"He opened the door, greeted him, and the suspect asked him if he could see the BB gun because he wanted to buy something like that for his son," explained Garden City Police Detective Daniel Solis. "The victim's son went to the backyard and waits on the suspect to show him the BB gun, but the suspect never shows up."
"Few days later the Mom is getting ready for work," says Solis. "She notices most of her jewelry is missing. She starts greeting her son, that's the last person who entered the residence."
"The following day I went and checked the Pawn Shop and sure enough he had pawned most of the jewelry described by the victim," explained the Detective.
Edward Archer is the 29th suspect arrested after being profiled on Fugitive Files.
