TBI adds Knoxville man to most wanted list

A man suspected of murdering his pregnant girlfriend is now on Tennessee's top ten most wanted list.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added Brandon Scott Donaldson to it's Most Wanted list today.

The 22-year-old man is wanted by the Knoxville Police Department for one count of second degree murder and one count of attempted second degree murder.

Investigators say Donaldson shot and killed his 19-year-old girlfriend as she was leaving his house with her mother last Wednesday.

The TBI considers Donaldson armed and dangerous.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today added a Knoxville man wanted for the murder of his pregnant girlfriend to the state's Top Ten Most Wanted list in an effort to locate him and take him into custody on charges related to the shooting incident that killed her.

Brandon Scott Donaldson, 22, last known address 3115 Marble Hill Blvd. is wanted by the Knoxville Police Department for one count of second degree murder and one count of attempted second degree murder. The morning of February 13, 2013, Donaldson and his girlfriend, Marcia Crider, 19, were having a domestic argument at a residence on Porter Avenue when Crider's mother went to the home to help her daughter. As Crider and her mother were getting in a vehicle to leave the residence, Donaldson walked outside the house, pulled a gun and started shooting at the vehicle. Crider was hit by gunfire and died shortly after at a nearby hospital. An autopsy revealed Crider was 10-13 weeks pregnant when she died. The Knoxville Police Department obtained enough evidence in the shooting incident two get warrants for Donaldson.

Donaldson's criminal history includes a drug charge involving cocaine. He received three years' probation and is also wanted for violating that probation.

Donaldson is described as a black male with black hair, brown eyes and also goes by "L" or "Brandon Diggs." He is 6' tall and weighs approximately 180 lbs. Donaldson is considered armed and dangerous and should be approached with extreme caution. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brandon Scott Donaldson is urged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463) or the Knoxville Police Department at 1-865-215-2442. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
