SAVANNAH, GA -
An unpleasant landing for a group of passengers aboard Delta flight DL 2307 tonight. According to an airport official the Delta plane came in for a landing around 6:30pm when the pilot apparently over corrected, causing the plane to leave the runway and end up in the grass.

Savannah/Hilton Head International received the following statement from Delta Airlines Corporate Communications concerning Flight 2307.
"Flight 2307, a DC-9 inbound from Atlanta, landed in Savannah, GA at approximately 6:49 PM ET. As the aircraft turned onto the taxiway, the nose wheel of the aircraft made contact with the grass. No injuries were reported and all 125 customers and crew members deplaned safely on the tarmac and were bussed to the terminal. Delta apologizes for the inconvenience this has caused."
The Airport reports there was no interruption of other arriving flights, and the plane will be towed out of the grass this evening.
Officials say no one has been transported from the scene with any medical complications.
Family and friends of passengers say they had no communication with airline officials in more than an hour after the incident.
